Contract Packaging is one of the many services we are proud to offer at LAI. We offer a variety of solutions to local businesses, which allows us to take care of the details while they focus on the big picture. Our current projects include repackaging and sealing food products, product assembly, mailers, silverware rolling, labeling, and much more.
Secure Document Destruction
In a time when ensuring one’s sensitive information does not fall into the wrong hands, LAI offers a secure, reliable and ecofriendly way to dispose of sensitive information. All employees working in this area are certified - background screenings, confidentiality contracts and training are all part of the certification process. 24/7 video surveillance ensures that your documents are safe guarded through the destruction process. Those companies taking advantage of the recurring pick up service are provided with locked containers ensuring document security within their office. Bins are serviced on a regular frequency, removing the hassle from our customers. Materials are secured while in transport to our shredding facility and destroyed within the industry permitted time frame. The destroyed documents are baled for recycling. Also available for your convenience, we offer drop off service and large quantity pick-ups. Employees working in this area understand the importance of security processes and confidentiality.
Dock Foam Recycling
One of our most recent projects making an impact in our community is Dock Foam Recycling. Given the current need in the lake area to clean up abandoned dock foam, LAI provides an affordable way to recycle it. We utilize a densifier which removes any excess water that has been absorbed into the inner beads of the foam. This process significantly reduces the size of the foam in order for it to be baled and sent off for recycling. The end product is used again as packaging material for electronics. Working in this area teaches employees the importance of taking care of our environment. They love being a part of a process that is helping clean up our community. LAI would like to keep this process going so as the new encapsulated foam begins to fail our community will not have this problem again. In addition to dock foam, we are able to process and recycle packaging foam.
